Chakali Bhajani | Roasted Flour for Crispy Chakli

Happi Farms Chakali Bhajani is a roasted flour blend for making crunchy, golden chakli (chakali) at home, the classic Maharashtrian Diwali faral snack.

The grains are roasted before grinding, which gives chakli its signature crunch and aroma.

How to prepare

1. Make the dough – Mix the bhajani with chilli powder, sesame seeds, ajwain, salt and a little hot oil, then add water and knead into a soft dough.
2. Shape – Fill a chakli press and pipe spirals onto a plate or butter paper.
3. Fry – Deep fry on medium heat until golden and crisp.
4. Store – Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
